Hopefully my 4 S.African tropies(kudu,gemsbok,blue wildebeest and warthog) will be shipped back to the States in April. I am looking for input as to the most accurate and realistic forms and manufactures. I am partial to the Wall Pedestal shoulder mounts. It's difficult to make decisions just looking at manufactures online catalogs.

Not sure who my taxidermist used but here's the start of my African wall. Could ask him for you and like you I love the wall pedestal mounts.



Still have a caracal jumping up at a springbuck getting done and a couple skull mounts. Headed back next April hoping to take a few trophies I don't have yet. Zebra, mountainreed buck, black wildebeest, etc Good huntin'

Thanks Big28, I'd appreciate any help and specifics on forms as they will be my 1st African mounts. The pose on the wildebeest is exactly as I was planning. I had seen a similar habitat that is on your Impala but also included the start of a termite mount in McKenzie and I was planning that for the warthog. I really like the Wall Pedestals as they show off the shoulder much better in my opinion.

The warthog would look great with that habitat. I have the book and know exactly what your talking about. Thought about that one myself and also with my warthog. Looking for a bigger one next trip so I can get a shoulder done on one. Decided to just get the skull done on him. My brother will be my partner on this next trip and it is also his first African Safari. So he has first shot and everything except the zebra. I'll get the info for you. Good huntin'
