New to the predator forum. Always been loyal to federal but looking for some ideas on factory loads to try in my 223 for fox or coyote. Not really interested in messing up the fur just want to remove some critters.

55 grain hornady vmax will put 5 shots in a quarter out of my savage

Hornady ammo for sure , I have a Savage Axis in 223 and it will shoot any of the hornady ammo . I was shooting the 55gr v-max and z-max (same ammo ) , but switched to the 50 round boxes of the Hornady 55gr soft points . I can get them for $30 a box , quite a bit cheaper than the v-max with the same results .
