So we had a absolutely fantastic day!!! Going to have a long night skinning yesterdays catch. We ended up catching 11 beavers today. Ryan caught the biggest at 60lbs and my biggest was 55.5lbs. All in total we caught a grand total of 423 lbs of beaver today!! We had 34 set out last night and today we finished it at exactly 40 sets total.

Those are big beaver …..averaging 49.4 pounds per beaver. Must have not been trapped in recent years.
BigB, I miss spoke. We caughta total of 423 lbs today. Ryans catch of 120.5 lbs yesterday made a gand total of 543.5 Sorry about that, but after fleshing my 5th beaver tonight it dawned on me what you said didn't make sense to me. So I had to look at the paper. Not sure what the average would be but a lot lower for sure.

That’s still a good average for weight. Normally around here, 30% of the beavers are gonna be this years beaver….30% are gonna be two year olds, and the other 40% will be “ adults “ ( 35 pounds and up ) . There should be a lot of this years beaver left there,….usually they are the first to fall.

How many lodges did you guys locate? Or are they using bank holes?

All most all the areas have multiple lodges, however there as many if not more bank dens at these same locations.
