A buddy told me that he heard they are considering making the legal size of beaver foothold traps bigger next season. Has anyone else heard or read this anywhere? I was just curious.

I think that has been talked about before . wouldn't get to excited one way or the other , there front feet are small enough for any foothold

This. Yep.

Only ever trapped a few beaver.............more or less to see if I could. Just used some old time Northwoods #2 coils. Made some drowning locks. The #2 held beavers long enough for them to get out the wire and drown. That's where I found all of them..............
