Tim - WOW - sorry - but we have all been through it - I had shot a HUGE grey squirrel back in my younger days - an old buck that had a fox squirrel colored tail - I mean HUGE - when I got it back it was the body was the size of a red squirrel - but its head was the size of a house cat - it was bizarre looking - I ended up burning it as well - I couldn't take looking at it every day - but I got what I paid for - my cousin did it for $75

a good buddy of mine and a Taxidermist had a 2 year or longer back log. unfortunately he passed away about two months ago. best all around taxidermist in this area. i dont think there isnt anything he couldnt mount and make it look great.

careful with that one. even a taxidermist that uses a freeze dryer can mess that up.

Haha lesson learned in regards to “you get what you pay for.” Happened to me years ago with a nice buck I killed in bow season. My wife calls him the zombie deer and he’s not allowed to even be hung up in the house.
