For some reason a black bear decided to claw the snot out of this shagbark hickory at the corner of my food plot. I think the same bear also climbed up one of my tree stand ladders, stood on my shooting platform and broke a big limb off that was 6 foot above it. Not sure why, perhaps it's a black cherry tree and he was trying to get at the cherries?

Wow, he did a thorough job, have that bear come down to my place in WV as I have stand in the shagbark and I could use the loose bark removed cause it makes a heck of a racket when you rub up against it.

IMO he was looking for lunch, looking for bugs under the bark.
