Hey all, I recently decided to order a new e-collar system. My Tri-Tronics Sport Basic system still works great, but I have been needing a third receiver for a while and they are quite expensive to purchase at this point, so I decided to just replace the entire system. I went with a Garmin Sport PRO since it is comparable to the old system. Which brings me to my question.

The Sport PRO comes with a built-in barking limiter. Now obviously as beagle owners we WANT the dogs to bark. However, the dogs are quite noisy when they play together in the house and some bark limiting in that circumstance would be nice (they wear the collars whenever they are out since they can't seem to handle not getting into things...) I don't want to cause them to stop barking on a trail though, so I am hesitant to use the bark limiting feature. Has anyone ever used bark limiting at home for hounds, with or without issues with barking on trails? Thanks!

Mike is right a no bark collar will not affect them in the field. As long as you remember to switch it off bark limiter and back to the regular training collar.
