Ok. I had coyote hounds we always ran at dark because it could be a all night chase. I have a 8 m9nth I want to get him out throughout the season. I notice the rabbits at the house start moving about an hour before dark.
During the hot days of summer I get out early, 1st light, only run them 2 hours tops!! Plenty of water.
Not a good feeling when you see your dog drop of heat exhausted! I did it years ago when I was young and stupid, the dog bounced back, but never again
I personally like mornings. Lots of old tracks and easy starts many times. That’s not what I want. I train both
