Does anyone have a prefered scope base they like to use for Encores?

I have a 50mm 4x12 i need to mount on an encore barrel and honestly this is the first time I had to worry about a base. All of my guns that have a scope for gifts so I didnt have to worry about all this stuff in the past.

I usually use either the Leupold or Weaver one-piece bases and they've held up fine on several barrels.

Go to: EGW Gun Parts. One piece base, picatinny, you will need picattinny rings. Your set up will be straight !! There are plenty of crooked rings and bases these days !! That will BEND your good scope !! I have a 20Moa on my 300 win mag. This will center your scope for better elevation. Keep in mind with a zero mount you will only use half of your scope !! A 20 Moa will give you 20 more inches of elevation for longer range. Plus you will get better performance for you will be working closer to the as-built center of the scope.
