Yes made by Benelli and I shoot one for upland bird. Now mine is a 48 AL, and its over 40 years old. Was my dads and I tell you I love this gun. I would never spend 2000 on a field gun, like a sbe 2. Simple because that's a ton of cash for one gun. My brother has one and its amazing. But I have held guns I saw online and ended up not liking them, go to a shop and try many of them, ignore price and make and see which fits you the best.

Franchi will serve you well. After 40 plus years of service, you can't go wrong.

I had one, about 20 year old 48AL20. Good gun but didnt fit me right and I couldn't hit crap. It didn't like lowbrass shells either. However the guy I sold it to swears by it for grouse.

Iv been using my brothers benelli montifelltro. Wood/blued. Very light, points great, and ducks and geese hate the gun. Cycles everything too. $900-1200 new.

Franchi's are awesome guns, can't go wrong there.

If you can find a Browning A5 light 20 at a good price I'd say give it a good hard look. Mines been flawless and points beautifully.

I totally agree with both statements. I once went to buy a Franchi I pulled it up to aim...then tested the Browning A-5. The A-5 fit me much better...
