When PA's Auditor General announced the results of his PGC audit earlier this year, with his opinions of mismanagement, such as when he pronounced there to be an excessive amount of money in the game fund - some expressed the view that he'd pulled numbers out of thin air, not understanding how PGC hsa to account for their money.

Others pounced on his findings, as proof that PGC doesn't know what they're doing with their finances.

Now there's this: He has conducted a "special audit" on the costs of not taking Climate Change seriously, in his opinion.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Pennsylvania’s auditor general is calling on state officials and lawmakers to take a proactive approach in dealing with climate change.

The auditor general’s office released a special report Wednesday, “Climate Crisis: The Rising Cost of Inaction.”

The report says severe weather is costing Pennsylvania hundreds of millions of dollars every year, including $261 million in 2018. Nearly half of that amount, $125.7 million, was in infrastructure damage caused by record-breaking floods and landslides.

Bear in mind that he is running for Congress next year, against Republican incumbent Scott Perry. Many of us were of the opinion that his audits are a means of attracting attention to him and primarily used as political fodder for that run. Much like the one he did on PGC.

Any politician that runs on a platform of "Climate Change" is merely using it as a mask for their true platform of Socialism and wealth redistribution. (Or hiding their complete absence of grey matter.)

AMEN.....Pennsylvania really needs to steer away from the Demo idiots or we will be in the same place as Virginia

They even voted in a Child Molester and a Tranny. Disgusting. Goodbye to their guns....

Climate change=bad weather, been happening for quite a while now. But promising to do something about it is kinda' new....

Might be a novel idea to try tackeling problems we've actually caused and can actually do something about. Mebey try balancing a budget or decreasing the deficit for starters?

America can lead the way in fight on climate change and go totally 100% green and it will do no good. China, India and others are the leaders in pollution. people in some of those areas cant go outside with out masks or respirators.

VOTE REPUBLICAN and SAVE AMERICA !!

Maybe if the state would use the taxes they collect to improve infrastructure to actually improve infrastructure, instead of lining their own pockets, our infrastructure wouldn't fall apart after a little rain? I dunno, just thinking out loud....

LOL, prescribed and unprescribed opioids are far more detrimental to a "clean way of life" than legalizing marijuana is.

Climate change? Oh you mean like has happened thousands of times in the last 4 billion years, some events significantly worse with fairly catastrophic consequences.
