I would like to find an arrowhead. When ever I am out at the lake and walking the shoreline I am looking for them. If I am waking in a field that has been plowed I am looking for them. I haven't found one yet. I talk to people walking around the lake and they find them. Any tips on what I should be doing different.

I'm in the same catagory -- Pop used to walk the shoreline while we fished and he found them. Me I'd find driveway chips...... I do have a knack for 4-leaf clovers, but I guess after 25 the luck factor diminishes greatly.

Water is the key...I have found thousands and when searching a new area I always look for a little rise right near a creek...Think of native americans as being as lazy as we are..Would you want to haul buckets of water hundreds of yards?...Would you want to be camped out in an area where floos waters would ruin your home?....Use common sense and you will find the right places.
