Hey Guest, it looks like you haven't made your first post yet. Until you make an introduction thread, the rest of the site is locked to posting. Why not take a few minutes to say hi!
I was planning on buying some new arrow wraps but i moved up to a bigger arrow at 400 grains. What width of arrow wrap should i use for a 400 grain arrow? For example 1 inch 1 1/2, 1 3/4, and 1 1/4.
I actually ordered some there! and i bought some at gandermountian for the time being and wrapped four arrows. I am happy with the outcome and plan on doin more wraps in the future
The sure fire way is to take a piece of string, lay it around the shaft, and mark the string with the distance around the shaft.
Then take the marked piece of string and lay it on a tape measure to get the size.
Carbons are usually 1 or 1 1/2 inches wide. You want a little bit of overlap so that the wrap starts to double up on itself. That being said after measuring, round up to the next size.
