I will never wrap another arrow. For a few years, I had fun giving my shafts a theme every year. This past week, I needed to refletch a shaft, and yep... arrow was cracked under the wrap from the nock to about 2 inches. I have no idea how long it was this way, was the wrap barely holding it from exploding on the shot, but I will never cover them again. This could have been a bad day for my safety, and both my rigs. Make sure you all check your sticks if your wrapping...

I always leave about a 1/4" between the nock and the wrap so i can look at the back of the arrow for cracks.
