Thought about just going this week and sit in stand and just enjoy the woods and scout legally with a bow and may get lucky.

I have a cornfield I am sitting each night the wind is right. Lots of damage evident in said corn.

I went out yesterday and saw some deer. I had a real nice bear show up last Friday while I was hunting with my son. Hoping he shows up again.

Not hunting til Saturday. My boy and I took a walk to pull a cam and had one cross the trail in front of us.

I saw 3 all within bow range during regular archery....I almost always see at least one. Going out tomorrow morning.

I will be out Thur-Fri with the bow and then Saturday with the rifle.

4 sits so far. I can't find them or any signs of where they usually frequent in the big woods.

I think in the big woods it is tough also.I have not seen sign of any in area I was in this year, but they need a good food source and if there are farms around they may be near there?If I wanted to get more serious in my area whom would be a good source?A WCO or someone else at game comm?
