Was in gander Mt today and they caught my eye. Think they were called yak trax ???? I have ended up with my feet in the air due to a little ice under the snow - never a good time. Anyone use cleats?

For me when on the ice or even when on packed snow the cleats go on no reason to take a fall if it can be prevented especially as many of us are at a age a bit past our prime.

I love my ice cleats and they have kept me upright more than a few times! Great investment, if you get in super deep snow keep an eye on them though....lost my first one in 3 seasons of using them a few days ago in the fresh deep snow, never realized until I got home that it wasnt on there.

Yak Trax are great. Just don't forget to pack them when you might need them. I love mine when ground is froze solid and icy.

I only use them for ice fishing.

I use the Icetrekkers Diamond Grips. Never use them for snow, just Ice. And dont forget about them and walk into your garage. Ice cleats+ concrete= butt on ground
