Not anymore. I hunted in 4B from 1998-2012. When I first started hunting there deer were plentiful, of course that was before the concurrent season and antler restrictions. Thru the years the deer numbers in my area decline and than cousins of ours decided it was OK to build treestands all around where my dad and I hunt even though we hunted there for many years before them. Than one year a decent buck was headed my way thru the christmas trees that were planted and my one cousin thought it was okay for him to shoot 350 yards+ in my direction from his parked truck at the deer instead of allowing the deer to clear the trees and give me a clear shot (appox. 125 yards.) while I was in my stand. The final straw was the year the landower (my mom's uncle) passed away. He was okay with using 4 wheelers and trucks for deer retrieval, but only for that. Well my cousins thought since he had passed on it was okay to ride their 4 wheelers to and from their stands because they were to lazy to hike up the mountain. Total disrespect on their part. Only 1 of that group of 7 even showed up at his services. With them having stands all around us and their "ways" of hunting I gave up hunting in that area, but there sure are some nice bucks if you find the right location and aren't afraid to hike.
