My buddy and I made a trip to Pymy yesterday. Got there at 6:30 am….five years ago, you wouldn’t have got a parking space at Linesville during the week before Memorial Day weekend. When we got there, only one other truck/ trailer in the parking lot. We needed a little more wind in order to drift fish, but there was just enough to keep us moving. We caught 8 keeper walleye, 2 smalls, and lost 3 by boat ( that’s unusual ). 13 keeper crappie ( had two 13” fish ). Half dozen channel cat, some small perch, gills and a 17 “ bass.

Nothing like it was 10 years ago, but still a nice day on the water. Found out I need to do some welding on my boat trailer. Get to it next week.

Square tubing is rusted through on bottom …bad.

I’ll be up to camp for the holiday weekend, not sure how much fishing I’ll get in. Might be able to get out in the evening after the kids are asleep (830-9). We’re on the South end of the lake, so that’ll have to do.

If anyone is going to be headed up that way and fishing solo, let me know. Good chance I’ll be fishing alone, unless my mom can watch the kids, so my wife can come along.

That’s because they all were fishing Keystone Lake this past Sunday! It was a zoo!

A day like that would be legendary in the lakes we fish.

My buddy got a 16.75 inch crappie today at Pymy. Two pounds on digital scale.

Man that’s a good fish, my best Pymy crappie was just shy of 16”, I didn’t get a weight. A limit of those would fill some freezer bags for sure.
