Canoe Creek , Limestone trail to Moores Hill trail.
Used to hunt that area and was good to if you knew where to look.
Not going to hand over the deer , but that puts you close.
Used to hunt the Glendale area , behind the rifle range actually. Take the gated road , concentrate on the left hand side. Was better before the one area really grew up.
No longer hunt there either but that's where'd I'd go if I went back.

Many yrs ago back when they didn't care about the tourists feeding the deer , they opened parts of the park to smokepoles.
What a slaughter , those deer where used to people practically hand feeding them.
I can remember going back to the sail boat area and the deer would come out right to the car when they heard you.
Browse line in some areas had to be 6 feet high and as far as the eye could see.

Well then I say go for it , if for no other reason than , it's a sight to behold.
1st time they come threw it's a little weird if you never seen it before.
