The Rolfe Beagle Club is located 6.7 miles north of Ridgway, Elk County, PA. Go north of Ridgway, PA on SR 948 for 6 miles; at the Y in the road, take the right fork of the Y; go 0.7 miles and the clubhouse is on the right at 1016 Long Level Road. The club is serving breakfast, lunch, and all the coffee and pop you want. Call 814-512-2101 for additional information. We are an active habitat management club that supports ALL small game habitat. Come see our warm season grass fields, the brush cutting on blocks for grouse, the woodcock habitat restoration - come see what can be done for wildlife. We WELCOME your assistance. Sincerely, wlhab

if you were coming south on 948 (from Sheffield lets say), that Y is kind of out in the middle of nowhere correct? You would pretty much have to do a U turn to get onto that road.

I'd like to see the work and help out if i can...

If you were coming south on 948. right before the Y in the road. There are a couple S turns. right after the S turns it's the first road on the left.

pheasants has it right. There's also a red home right there at the backward left turn if coming from Sheffield. We have five saws, two chaps, some hardhats, etc. We need a piler with each cutter, so come even if you don't have a chainsaw. There is always plenty to do for wildlife habitat. wlhab

Re: Allegheny Chapter Habitat Day at the Rolfe Beagle

Folks - we had a GOOD day today and created some much needed grouse, woodcock, and small game habitat. Come again in April. We have 1600' feet of woodcock habitat restoration in a riparian area we are working on. Keep in touch, and THANKS to the Allegheny RGS Chapter today. Sincerely, wlhab
