Thanks Jayd4wg

My .17 was a great shooting rifle... I was putting 17VMax on target with a quarter size grouping at100 yards... However I told jason my trigger was very heavy or I would get better groups...
Well folks he took my rifle and rebuilt my trigger overnight, and I took it to the range today with IMPRESSIVE ACCURACY...
Here is 1 shot at a 3/8staple at 50 yards

And here is a 4 shot group that is covered up with 1 kernal of dog food, I was shooting at a thumb tack this time at 100yards http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/...pg?t=1286392985

I am very pleased, he took my trigger from around 10lbs. down to under 4lbs...
Again, thanks Bro...

Has anyone else done this???????????

Lots of people for generations have worked on their triggers. Not a secret.

That gun looks to be shooting good groups, but you've missed everything you were aiming at. (staple and dogfood)

The wind was blowing to my left, you can see the thumbtack hole just to the right of the impact zone... All together, it is still a goundhawg's eyeball at 100yards and that is a clean kill ...
Plus I wanna take the brains outta a coyote with it... I figure as long as it is within 100 yards, that 17gr vmax will scramble it's brains...

BH, glad I could help. First time i felt the trigger on that .17 i thought DANG...my shotgun has a lighter trigger LOL...it HAD to be done.

The Marlin Bolt Action Bic Pen Spring Trigger Adjustment (MBABPSTA for short LOL) has been around for quite some time. i'm ready to take the boys out for some squirrel action man...we are SET

Them .17's still impress me, but not enough to give up my 22mag. i can't get over how tiny them holes ae in the paper

I'm thinkin that once we get that thing out on a calm day with no gusts, we should see the groups drop to about .25"
