Just thought I'd post this since I know some of you knew him.

Last night, Darin Freeborough, of Animalistic's trapping, my uncle, passed away in an accident on the Allegheny Reservoir \ Kinzua Dam at the Webb's Ferry launch.

Details are sketchy as he was alone, but something happened when he was loading his boat to head home. His girlfriend found him last night in 4 FOW about 20' from shore.

Darin was a great guy, a **** of an outdoorsman, and he LOVED getting new people into the sport. I'll miss him a lot. We all will.

I met him at the Harrisburgh sports show last February. He was the lone vendor sell trapping supplies. We talked for a while, and I bought some lure off him. Seemed like a real nice guy.

I met Darin at the Clfd. Show they do in March, bought some great DVD's n lure over the years. Always had time to talk at conventions, did great demo's, I will miss him. To his family, prayers are sent for your loss. God Bless.

Sorry to hear this sad news. I saw and talked to him at numerous conventions and have a few of his videos and lures. I have his interview with Clint Locklear on my iPod and listen to it frequently as it is full of info. He had a gift for teaching, demonstrating and explaining. RIP Darin.
