Yesterday, my long-time hunting friend, Skip, drove us (wives included) to Ft. Indiantown Gap to lay a wreath on his uncle's grave. My wife and I had never been, and we were each emotionally moved by this tranquil, somber, solemn site set aside for the final resting place for military veterans. The day was overcast and foggy, adding to sense of peacefulness.

Today, each grave was to be covered with a Christmas wreath, placed by volunteers. Yesterday, hundreds of boxes, each containing 9 wreaths, awaited today's volunteers.

Since a lot of us traditional forum participants are getting a bit long in the tooth, I simply suggest a visit to this beautiful cemetery setting as an outing that will enrich your soul and enhance your appreciation of America.
