Made a few cool finds this weekend. I found my first fall oysters, a cool, little orange spiral coral mushroom, my first ever porcini's (they were fantastic with my steak last night, and another very colorful boletus which most likely wasn't edible but cool to look at none the less. I also came across a pretty large patch of destroying angels as well.

I went back to my buddy's yard last night where I found the porcini's and found about 10 more. I also found a small patch of chanterelles. I learned a new mushroom as well called a bitter bolete. I was excited when I first started finding them because they were nice and meaty and didn't stain blue. A simple nibble and spit test was all it took to tell you they were unpalatable.
