Here are a few pics of our maple syrup adventure this year.........we ended up running somewhere around 650-700 gallons of sap.........netting in a little over 6 gallons of syrup.......We ran the sap 2 different days, and it took near all day both days.....

Great pics, looks like you guys really went through the wood.
Yea, this setup works pretty good................but that is why we are looking at the coal route for next year......

That pan is 100% what I need to build for next year.
Like I said in the other post we only have about 60-100 bucks in that pan right there........

No, it is just plain old carbon steel.....just rub it up good with mineral oil, and it is good to go....

700 gal. of sap to net 6 gallons of Syrup. Man, at those numbers, ya gotta do it for the love.


........... or 2 days away from the wife.
