Anybody else remember it? We would all line our trucks up along the road and cook breakfast for each other.Hunt till noon then cook lunch and see what we shot. Game warden would come by and check everyones license and gun for loaded weapons then have a coffee with us.

I do remember the 9AM start. I lived about 5 miles from the Westmoreland county fair grounds there were wild pheasants and rabbits every where, before I could even hunt I would watch the hunters line up at every field I could see for the 9AM start. The first couple hours sounded like a war as far as you could hear!

When the wild pheasant areas open up, an 8AM start date will be required so visibility is at a level to identify hens so they are not accidently shot.
