Sunrise on the Black River 5/07/18 Lewis County, NY. 05:30, 55 degrees
I'm fortunate to live right along the river and it's only about a forty foot walk to the river bank. the spot I take the pictures from isn't much bigger that a pool table, but by manipulating the camera back and forth as the Sun itself rises I get some subtle changes.
It's fun how people see things differently. When I post these sort of pics on Facebook some folks only see the pretty colors. Others might notice the dead tree, the flight of geese, or the reflections. When I post them here I know that I'm among outdoorsmen who feel all the things that I feel as I'm standing there, because we've all experienced the outdoors in the early morning.
