Seeing the posts of the Late season hunts I was thinking maybe there would be interest in the 4C area for an HPA hunt. I never have anyone to hunt late season with except sometimes my son will go with so it would be nice to be with other fellas. Anyone interested and have ideas?

Them areas are good. Have you hunted them areas before? I hunted over there one time so if someone familiar with the area could come up with a hunt plan that would be great and that whole week after Christmas I am available.

tradco,

Have hunted Stoney Valley for many years and there are some fabulous ares to hunt there in the late season. The clear cuts from the concrete bridge to paking lot on Indiantown Gap side of the creek are great if you have a few guys to drive. Let me know as time goes by here and I would be happy to join if I have a tag left. Already have the mountain bike and tree stand cart to haul out deer.

I sent in my application for a 4C license over the weekend. My tags are usually PGC donations anyway, and would enjoy a 4C hunt with like-minded flinters, so call me a pretty-near sure thing.

Start looking for a cheap bike. The railroad bed is nice, fairly level, and a easy ride back in.

I've got a second bike that someone can use. Last week of the season is absolutely awesome out there. We will be all alone and the deer will be returning to their normal patterns. A skif of snow makes a big difference out there.

I have been back there every year on the game tour but only hunted there once. When my family lived at Green Point they hunted there all the time But when they were evicted due to the Project '72 they relocated over here to Halifax. Being born 70 I never got the chance but have heard thousands of stories from my Grandpa (1986) and dad (2009) who have both passed on now so what a special hunt it would be for me.

Keep us posted as the time comes. I don't have a 4c tag this year but I'm definitely interested in hunting on SGL 211. I usu. don't mind walking(driving) all day.

I'm certainly still interested in participating in a 4C late season hunt. My try for a 4C tag failed, but I infrequently find myself void of a cold weather tag.

Definitely sounds like a good time sorry Coyote you can not join in. I did get a 4c tag and will probably have the other tag also but either way I am in if only to push. As the season gets closer maybe we can set a date< get a few more guys and get some guys that are familiar there to plan it out.
