I am kicking around the idea of getting a Glen Del buck 3d target. Anyone have one? Would you recommend it or any other?

I have had a Glen Del for years. Mine is an older full rut I believe. I have replaced the core once. I think the newer Glen Dels have a four sided core, mine is just two sides. I am happy with it and I have always stored it inside when not using it.

I like rhineheart. Mines just one of the cheaper models, the woodland buck I believe. Around $100 I believe. The vitals are rhinehearts "good" material. Not like in their competition models where the whole animal is of that material. Keeps the cost down. I've shot field points and practice expandables at it and it's held up great. I've let it outside all year for 3 years now and it's held up great. Arrows are easy to get out too. Definitely recommend it.

I just ordered the Pre-rut. it got decent reviews so I figured I'd try it. I'll let you know my first impressions when it gets here later this week.

So far, so good. Ive shot the target the last 5 days straight. Stops arrows good and is very realistic looking. The way the legs go over the stakes is the only question mark I have. I am going to fill legs with spray foam and think this may sturdy it up. So as of now, I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5.

I agree HD, so far I like it. The only thing I don't care for is if you shoot 4-5 arrows in it, it seems to push the vital insert back a bit. All in all I will give it a solid 4. I ended up buying the stand to leave it on, which is nice.

Which model did you get? I've had the prerut for a couple weeks now and have had no issues with arrows coming close to passing through.

I have had the buck for 2 years, and it has taken a beating. I have two complaints:

The way the legs attach to the body is not as sturdy as it could be.

The belly of the target under the insert is too thin. I practice heart shoots and a coup shots just low and the belly foam is cut through
