I hunted my normal location in Bluejay 2F. I was in my stand at 6AM. Saw my first deer at 1130. A doe and a fawn. They walked in to about 20 yds of my tree stand and bedded down. About 1145, they both stood up and looked out toward my 2 o'clock. Three doe and a buck came in. One shot from the .270 and it flipped completely over on its back and never moved. 6 point, 16.5" inside spread. Real big bodied deer. I've hunted this same location for about 15 years and have at least seen a buck there every year.

This will give you an idea of the body size....

Finally, happiness is smoke from the chimney, the sound of a native trout stream out the back door, and a deer swinging on the meat pole...

I went fly fishing the Saturday before the opener near camp and saw a 6 point which was very similar. It stood 50 yds off the road for about 10 minutes while I watched it. I remember saying, "I'll take one that looks just like you Monday." It occurred to me on the way back to camp with my buck I had.
