I am also a big fan of the quarter bores. I have a savage 110 in .257 Bob. I would love to have a newer model Savage 99 in 250, but I just can't find hunting gun. I am really considering the Savage model 14 classic in the 250. I don't think you can go wrong with a quarter bore for PA deer.
