Usually around the first week in June. Last year it was June 8.
I don't believe they can. I think the only instance of buying a license for another person is a parent buying for a junior hunter.Fallair said:Does anyone know if a family member (if equipped with my military documentation and license number) is able to purchase my license and doe tags for me at the court house?

Regular License, archery, ML, DMAP, no sweat. Can do that for anyone, at any issuing agent or online with the proper info. My wife did it for me and a few buddies when we were on our Canadian fishing trip last year when licenses first went on sale. Doe licenses may be another story. I am close to a courthouse with a very helpful treasurers office and will try to make time to stop and ask them your question.Fallair said:Does anyone know if a family member (if equipped with my military documentation and license number) is able to purchase my license and doe tags for me at the court house?
Thanks a lot for the info. I knew the license purchase was allowed, but I wasn't sure about the doe tags. I will not be able to make it home before the season starts to buy my tags. Thanks again.jimbridger said:I would say yes. I done it once and had no issues but they went to the PGC office for the license and than to the court house for the doe tag. You will be issued a doe tag even if all allocations are gone. There is always one for active duty military
It still says that you or your AGENT can do it in person at the treasures office OR once you have your license you can mail it in with all documentation to the treasures office.
If you mail it in DO NOT USE THE PINK ENVELOPE, USE A PLAIN ENVELOPE. Than mark it ARMED FORCES ANTLERLESS APPLICATION.
If you do the mail route you need to send a self addressed stamped envelope.
You can do this at any time during the year.
