Solo double this morning at 75 yards.

Solo double a couple weeks ago 20-30 yards.

Buddy and I doubled one each here, July.

First one of the year.

Ruger American Predator chambered in 223. Shoots better than I do. The Vortex Crossfire II 1-4x w/ V-Brite reticle is a new addition and these were the first 2 coyotes I shot through that scope. I believe I had it set on 2x at the time. Has a nice little illuminated dot for dark/low light and honestly picks up as much light as my eyes do when set to low power, perfect for close shots. Even though it's very rare to be able to see that far around here, 4x is enough to reach out 250-300 yards or so, so I'm pretty happy with it. Probably paid $600-650 for the whole setup, and it's pretty lightweight to boot

It's a very nice looking setup. I'm looking to sell one of my 220swifts and pick up the predator in 223 as well. Glad to hear ya like it.

Thanks fellas. I've had most of my luck in the morning. I've lured in a few of these with fawn distress, and yes, pup distress particularly after taking a shot. There's plenty more out there
