Interesting story.

It's about 4:45 am, I'm getting ready to go out hunting and my sister calls that her car won't start and she needs to get to work. So I can't say no. I go to her home and check her car real quick. Knowing I don't have a lot of time. So I just take her to work. Now on my way home it's getting daylight already. So I'm thinking I will go to a closer area that I hunt. No problem. Well after I get home I realize I left a valuable piece of hunting equipment in the tree the night before. So now I'm in for an over one mile walk to my stand.
I get there way past the time I wanted to. But no big deal, it's late October and the deer are active . About 8:30 I hear a faint noise behind me. I turn and don't see anything. I hear it agin looking in the direction it came from and see antlers through some pine branches as this buck was standing on his hind legs licking a pine brach on the edge of some hard woods. He had just made a scrape. I knew what buck this was by his antlers. I have a few pictures of him on a trail camera mid Sept., to early October. He made his way to 20 yards from my side for a perfect broad side shot. He ran about 30 yards and piled up.
Hence the reason for the pine branches and scrape on the mount.
Im unable to post the trail cam pics presently.

Sorry such a long read.

GMO, nice buck buddy, and very sweet mount....and if you dont mind, I was wondering how much they charge for a pedestal mount like that? And who was the taxidermist, in Northwest PA by any chance?
