Hello all, I just joined on Nov.1st. So i have no idea how to post pictures..., I look forward to the 1st week of November every year. This year was no different. As I stated in my New Member post, i have property in northern Armstong Co. I purchased a 1/4 of the farm from the farm owners son back in 2014. The father is still with us and he and I have greatly enhanced our properties with annual plantings of corn, soy beans, buckwheat and clover. The deer have responded.....
Now to the story........
Tues. 11/5/19 PM hunt.....I shot an 8pt at 3:55pm as he was cruzing for doe...25 yd shot, ran 50 DRT
Wed. 11/6/19 PM hunt....I shot a large doe at 4:35pm as it grazed toward me....30Yd shot. ran 50 DRT
Sat. 11/9/19 PM hunt....I shot another large doe at 5:05 pm as it grazed toward me...32yd shot, ran 50 DRT
The amazing thing here is i shot all 3 deer with the same bolt. I inspected the bolt after each shot, no damage. I just replaced the RAGE broadhead. I think i'll retire that bolt....lol. I'm shooting a Browning 07-171 Crossbow. 170lb draw, 390fps. this crossbow is amazing. when you pull the trigger all I see is that illuminated knock, disappear into deer, deer runs, and the bolt is 8" in the ground......The Rage are devastating, 2in cuts both sides. I filled my buck tag and both 2D doe tags...Im done:sad:
Just wanted to share my story, i need a bigger freezer:grin2:

Thanks for posting the pics... we like pics!

This site assumes pics are landscape, so portrait pics end up sideways. If you open your portrait pics with windows Photo Viewer and click edit, you can change the orientation to landscape and that works on here most of the time.
