I'm thinking about selling a Model 12 Trap in 12ga.,but don't know what would be a fair price for me and a buyer. It has a 30" full choke vent rib barrel and checkered stocks.I have a replacement buttstock on it,but have the original which was modified.I'll call this gun 85%.Made between '57 and'59.Input would really be appreciated,Thanks.

I would guess between 350 and 400 bucks. The stock will hurt you, and the barrel isn't helping much either.

why would you say the barrel isn't helping any? What would you expect to find on a 1959 Trap gun? 30 inch Full with a VR is the norm for that period.

Yeh, that would be pretty much standard for a trap gun...Having said that, Model 12 shotguns, unless pristine, do not seem to be bringing the big prices that other pre-64 Winchesters do...Maybe it's that the market is flooded with them?

Oh god, your killing me.

Why is it that all the good guns come up when I can't afford them.
