i shot one 5 years ago with a 50 cal i shot her at 60 yard with 80grs of 3f and almost did a pass through she ran about 100yrds before she died if this helps you

i hunt with a guy who has one and its not a bad gun if you just going to hunt and shoot it once in a while his doesnt like round ball he uses T/C cheap shot in it and they shoot well i understand...

i dont care what kind of muzzleloader you have anything over 100--120 grs of powder you are not going to burn all the powder my green mnt barrel is 44in long and anything over 80grs of 3f iam...

ive been useing a small day horn for years with my measure tied to my bag and i have a small primming horn in my bag not alot of extra weight but i do hunt primative in both seasons

yes Deuce 280 we shoot 2nd sunday at 1 oclock at samples moraine sportsmen club just a bunch of guys shooting paper targets we do 11rounds frist winner pick frist and so on 25 yrds cost is 10 dallors...

T/C makes a bullet called cheap shot its a 140gr hollow point sabot that sit in a plastic sleeve they shoot very well out of my son gun

if its a rice barrel 10 to 1 its a 1;56 or 1;66 twist i would stick with roundballs if you shoot sabots out of it they wont spin fast enoungh to be accurate sabot need a 1'32 or 1;48 twist
