Re: Need some advice
Sorry to hear this as I know how hard it is to put down a pet. We had to put down our fox red lab two months ago and I cried like a baby, but it was the right thing to do. She deserved better and we...

Re: Western Elk Rifle Optics - need advice
I would strongly suggest a Leupold VXII 4x12x40 with the adjustable objective. I have this on my Remington 700 CDL .300 Win Mag and it is perfect for western big game. Additionally, it is right at...

Re: Want to buy a new release
Scott little bitty goose with buckle wrist strap is my go to release. I have several and swear by them. I absolutely despised the velcro wrist straps.
Good luck.

Re: western PA shops/builders?
I'm in central PA and can give you the contact of a good builder in the area if interested. You should look on the track of the wolf website for ideas too.
PM me if you want more info.

Re: Rem model seven 308
You'll have terrible experiences trying to get it to shoot well. Sell it to me to avoid the frustrations!
Really though, you'll love the little gun as I have two--a 6mm and a .243--and they...

Re: Fletching Jig
To add to the comments from others, I put a drop of glue on the leading edge of the vane since this area is the most prone to tearing away from the shaft. Be sure to check on the type of vane you are...

Re: 280 Rem
I have one in a Remington 700 mountain rifle too and it's my go-to rifle since the mid80's. I've killed many deer and groundhogs with it loading it with 120's for light critters and 140's for deer....

Re: tinks 69 doe in rut lure
I don't use scents but my cousin does faithfully and harvests nices buck annually. However, he uses the Kirschner line and swears by the silvertop blend.
Best of luck!

Re: 257 Roberts price
Because of the caliber, and assuming it is as advertised, you should expect to get offers north of $750 if you were to list it. Anticipate low ballers, but the .257 Roberts has quite a cult of...
