PSE VENDETTA

I just bought a used PSE Vendetta XS. I had a Z7 extreme that I gave to my son, I was going to call it quits for hunting, but now changed my mind. Anyhow I shot this PSE bow An IMO it shoots nicer than the Z7 so it's now mine. I know its to late now but could I get some feedback on what others think of this bow. Thanks

When I was in retail, we sold PSE--the Vendetta is probably one of their best all purpose bows. Super fast, good forgiving brace height, easy draw cycle. I didn't care for the 29.5 ATA, but I like at least a 32" ATA for hunting and a 35+ for 3D and target.

You made a good choice.

Here is mine with last years meat in the freezer buck.

I absolutly love this bow. It is the xs as well. I am 6'1 and the small ATA of this bow is not noticable. It is fast, light, and quiet. Everything that I want in a bow. It can be creepy at times, when you first get back into shooting, so i would suggest shooting it during the season as well. I feel the back wall on this bow is very nice and when shooting it i fell like i am hold a square. I enjoy the short ata while treestand hunting as well.

I don't think you will be disappointed with this bow at all. I shot the DNA this past weekend and feel the vendetta blows this bow away in every catagory except speed. I shot mine through a chornograph while paper tuning and got aroung 295 with 400+ grain hunting arrows at 70#.

I have a 10" stabilizer on mine and feel that it helps keep everything smooth.

I brag this bow up every chance I get and think it is well worth the money spent on it. Being that it is a mid level bow and not the priciest of the PSE line i think that it is really a bargain. I bought mine as last years model in 2012 for 500 bucks. It is nice to get a bow close to the 300fps range, and smoother than the top end bows for such a price. I like to shoot rage out of mine. The buck I shot was at 18 yards and it sent the 2" mechanical through him an 18" or so in the dirt on the pass through. Highly capable bow at a great price.

Good luck with it hope you nail a monster with it.

The Vendetta is one of the best all around bows PSE ever made. I prefer the longer ATA also because of my 30 inch draw. Good luck this fall with it.

I have a 30" draw and was surprised at how well this bow does not flex and is holds balance in my arms. That was my biggest fear before I purchased it. The bow before that was a 34" ata so you can see where losing the 4.5" would be scary.

I did not shoot the non XS vendetta but can imagine it would shoot a bit smoother and be a perfect bow.

I do agree with PA. BONE that it is the best all around bow they make, and will add you are getting a lot of value with this bow for its price.

Just out of curiosity, what year is the bow, and did you get the all camo or black version.

The DNA I shot was in skullworks camo and I fell in love with the look of that bow.

i have a vendetta xl. i like longer bows, and it is 35"ata. i shoot a dot league with it, and hunt with mine. 60#, 29" draw, 410 gr arrows about 290fps. quite, not much hand shock, works well for me.

Re: PSE VENDETTA

Well I've been shooting this Bow now for a couple days and it is probably the nicest shooting bow that I've had, lite fast and quiet, so far I've got it sited in out to 40 yards. I like to site in for 50 yrd's, I use a HHA site, I know thats kind of far but just in case, you never know. I wouldn't take a shot if I wasn't confident with it. But I shoot everyday and wouldn't make a 10 yrd shot if I wasn't confident. Anyhow I just wanted to let you's know that YES I DO LOVE THIS BOW. Thanks to all that gave feedback.

Re: PSE VENDETTA

Glad your happy with it. Looking forward to your sucess pics. Did you decide on an arrow and broadhead yet? I would look at a heavier arrow.

After shooting the DNA I think that it is more of a ferria or viper type of bow. Mainly focused on speed. I think that the vendetta is like a cadalac cts v. Fast but also nice to shoot and forgiving.

I have mine set up for 20 -30 and 40 yards. About as far as I can shoot where i hunt. I have shot it accuratly past that and it groups well at distance but I just don't hunt fields or anything like that.

What poundage are you set up for now. I belive that it is maxed out when the limbs are 3/16" away from the limb pockets.
