What would you change in the NFL?

For me
1)Goodell, you are dismissed
2)No slide rule
3)Defenses will be allowed to hit again
4)Playoffs. Division winners still get a ticket, but seedings will follow the normal tie breakers. Just because you outplayed the 49ers, Rams and Cards does not grant you a home game.
5)Tom Brady, take off the skirt, put on some slacks, ans quit crying. Hopping around whining because someone touched you will be an unsportsmanlike conduct. Or you spend 5 minutes in the octagon with Ed Hoculi, your choice.

Ed Hochuli is a beast.

Get rid of the "tuck" rule. You drop the ball it should be a fumble.

I think the replay process needs tweaked. Prime example was when the Steelers played the Dolphins with Big Ben's TD/fumble at the end of the game. I still don't know how the ref can signal a TD, Ben fumble the ball and not know who recovered it. Then the Steelers got the ball back where they started. That whole play didn't make any sense to me.

They didn't have a camera angle showing anyone with clear possession. Anyway, when the ref signaled TD, the play was blown dead, and the Steelers didn't try to recover the ball. I agree, it was bad, but the LJ didn't really make a poor call from what he saw.

The refs should be taught to let the play run it's entirety. The ball was clearly out before he crossed the goal line. So I guess it was a judgement call, which is part of sports.

That was just it--he thought it was over. Its unlike any other play. A TD stops everything at the point when the ball crosses the line.

Here is exactly what the line judge who made the call saw.

And I'll be the first to admit, Miami got jobbed on this call. But they also had the chance to come back down the field, too.
