I'm NOT going to ESOS but would like to hunt mule deer and antelope in a western state this fall or next year. Anyone that can share a website of an outfitter or any info I would appreciate it. There are probably others in the same boat I am so how about some help.

Southfork mountain lodge & outfitters. Buffalo Wyoming. My friend & I were out there this past fall. We both killed Nice Mule Deer & Big Antelope. The accomadations were awesome we had cabin all to ourselves. All meals were at the main lodge, except when you were out hunting lunch was packed for you, the meals were delicious. As for the hunting we our guide showed us around 150 Mule Deer & twice that number of Antelope. I must say our guide was great new his buisness, very well. I would definately go back,we had an outstanding experience.

Here is the website www.southfork-lodge.com.

I hunted with A double J in Buffalo Wyoming. Had a great hunt, great time, and met some really good-honest people. We saw plenty of game...whitetail, muleys and antelope and everyone tagged out. He even allowed us o keep hunting for does for just the cost of the license and a small tresspass fee he paid to the landowner. BTW it was all private land (over 50,000 acres) and we had a private bunkhouse and it is a real family business. The guides were professional yet personable and fun, the camp and equipment were top notch and the food was great. Give Rusty a call or check out his web site adoublejoutfitters.com if you do call tell him I said hi, you can't go wrong

Milk River Outfitters has some great trophy hunts for mule deer on the powder river, but antelope in the area a weak and hard to draw a tag on. Montana is not friendly on us out of states folks either.

I had heard good things so far about Tyler Sims Outfitting in McFadden, WY. Goats are above average and mule deer are decent too. I am considering a goat hunt there this fall but am torn between outfitters at this point.

Good luck!
