newbie question

so here goes...i just acquired a half dozen #2, double coil spring traps (can't tell the make) and have good tiedown cables (1/8" aircraft cable with double crimped loops) and I have a farm with HEAVY coyote and fox traffic. I want the coyotes. could care less about the foxes - I actually like to watch the foxes when i'm deer and small game hunting there. I want to focus my efforts on the big dogs and would like some advice for types of setups. Also...would I better off calling and shooting them? They are frequent daylight dogs too, and I see them more often than not when out there, but have not been in the right mindset when they pop out(still hunting deer - they see me before I see them) and I may have a chance to get up there this weekend.

any web resources for the type of setup to use with these traps (i believe they may be Duke traps)

any suggestions for something that will attract the coyotes and not the foxes? I plan on placing the traps on the coyotes known path but I don't want to educate them at all. the big dogs follow the same path outof the creekbottom to the cornfields and then disperse from there. My plan was to place traps about 10-20 feet off the gas well roads that their path crosses and place traps every hundred yards or so along this path. I have very few skunks to deal with here, the occasional possum or porkie, TONS of fox (which seem to frequent OTHER trails) and of course the coyotes.

any and all advice appreciated
