I used the origional two blade rage for two seasons. The preformed great. When the O ring kept the blade in place. Once while trying to shoot a doe. Mine popped out at full draw. Caught on my pointer finger of my glove. That was a little to big. So at full draw I was trying to put it back. I got it in and shot the doe. But that was it. I switched to fixed blade Mon-tec's. They work, but I didn't get a good blood trail with the two deer I shot using them. Switched back to rage with the shock collar. The hypodermic. They hold together, leave a good blood trail and I love them.
They are awesome....took a doe on Tuesday...sliced the heart in half! Awesome exit hole...exactly what you want...when you hit the animal to be able to track it and find it..I am sold on these broadheads...
I was finally able to try out my Rage Hypodermics today on a nice 10 pointer. Last year I shot a doe with a Grim Reaper and had zero blood trail (part of this was angle of the shot). This year I was set on trying the Rage Hypodermics that I had in my quiver. They do not disappoint! While I'm not a fan of the collar they pack a mean punch and throw an amazing blood trail. I sliced the bottom of the heart and even though the deer ran about 100 yards on adrenaline it was super easy to find because of the amazing trail.
Rage Hypodermics have proven themselves to me in the field. This deer would've been a tough track if I didn't have the blood trail that the Rage broadheads afforded me. I'm a believer.
