Sounds like a blast! I'll be out your way on August 3rd for a 5k infested zombie/obstacle course. www.runforyourlives.com Cross training for an Alaskan dall sheep hunt! Best of luck to you!
I haven't had the itch to do a tough mudder yet. My schedule takes me near you though. My wife and I are doing the Butler Road Race this Saturday. I'm doing the 15k Run with the Deer Flies out toward Indiana mext month. I'll be in your backyard the end of August for the 10 mile Screamin Legs at Brady Run Park. Good luck with the Mudder and let us know how it goes.
Falls, myself and a group of guys from work are signed up for the 25th. I did the Ruckus last year and it was fun so decided to step it up this year. We are in the same boat as far as age. We are not looking to set any new records just finish
I did tough mudder in Mansfield, oh in april. I'm doing Pittsburgh with a 10 am sat start. Mansfield was miserable, cold, wet and very muddy. Looking forward to Pittsburgh.
Hagen, I did the tough mudder on the 25th in the 10am start. I was on the WPD team of 20. We finished in just over 4hrs and it was a blast. What day did you run?
Got kicked back to 10:20 start on Saturday, we finished in 4 hrs also. It was really crowded w/ a lot of bottlenecks. Had a girl cramp up at mile 7 so I waited on her a little bit. I'm actually thinking about doing TM Kentucky. Wife thinks i'm crazy. BTW i'm doing the labor day 5k in Washington.
Thanks for participating. It was my son's first flag football game that AM so I couldn't make it.
If you don't mind me asking, what age group were you in? One of my co-workers got 2nd in the 30-34 age bracket (I think that was the bracket) and a couple others in my work group ran it.
Heard the turnout was really good (almost 700) for the first year.
If you have any feedback (positive or negative), it would be appreciated. My boss is looking for ways to improve it for next year since it will be an annual event.
I was 45-49 male. I don't have any thing negative to say. Everything went well and everybody was very friendly. Hope they do it next year. Bubba's kettle corn was awesome.
I never knew there was a forum in here for fitness and I was wondering if anyone from here was doing a TM. I did it with a friend on Sunday. We ran the in the first group at 9am. We finished in 2hrs 45 min. That was with me holding him back. There are some great all around athletes there. I'm hoping to do 2 TMs next year and I'm doing the mud on the mountain at 7 springs this year to.
