let me guess, i'll watch the Philly news tongiht, and both these guys families will be on there, totally shocked. Both were "very good men", i'm sure it was someone else's fault that made them do this...
You are 100% correct. And is 6 mos you will see where DA Williams dropped all gun charges and the shooter plead guilty to criminal trespassing, and was sentenced to time served and 100 hrs of community service work.
Now why does this happen every day in Philly……. Just luck I guess.

At least he had a good reason to shoot up the place.

Seems he asked the DJ to play a particular song and was told he could not because, on that night, they were only playing atr's favorite songs and music videos.

On a different note last night in the concrete jungle, two young men decided to point guns at police, in two different incidents. Guess the Phila PD is getting good at their markesmanship classes.....As neither is around anymore to cop a plea deal.

Of course the neighbors are up in arms, because i'm sure in these two cases as well, they were fine, upstanding, individuals, that were just having a bad night.

I have a friend that's a Philly cop and he says when the gangbangers shoot someone, " nobody seen nothing".

When a cop shoots a gangbanger, the whole neighborhood saw it and the gangbanger was a nice guy who was just minding his own business.

Had to laugh when the one case there was a Mark II Ruger laying next to the pool of blood while the 38 YO's next of kin said he never had a gun, lets see that video.

Also heard yesterday on the news people are upset that police involved shootings were on the rise in Philly. NEWS FLASH....if you want the number of officer involved shootings to go down stop pulling guns and shooting at the cops.

More bullets for the police, that's one thing you won't hear me complain about my taxes going to buy. Although I thankfully live in the burbs, I spend considerable time down there for work.

I would like to hear Matt's response about how he knows about this club.......I have never personally heard of it....

You guys crack me up! I had a call to replace a door there 13 years ago. Worked the last 12 years 1 mile away. In there one time and would never go back. Always knew that this incident was highly possible in that place and surely in that area.

OK then Matt, since you "know" the place, yesterday on Preston and Steve there was a long, heated debate as to whether or not this place had been a doughnut shop before it became a strip club. What say you?
Aka "The Hairy Donut!" I work with a lot of guys that grew up in swPhilly, the stories of that place are second to none (lol).
