Hiking club recco?

Now that I am retired, and my feet are on the mend from some nerve damage, I am once again getting back into hiking. The only places I hike now are Valley Forge Park, a section of the AT, and some trails, in the Hawk Mountain area, and the environs of French Creek Park. Valley Forge and French Creek Park are okay, but I have gotten to the point that when I hike them, it's for condition only. Unfortunately, I am starting to experience the same thing with the Hawk Mountain area as well. Can anyone suggest a good Hiking Club in SEPA or perhaps other hikes in this area that I could try? I would like to engage with a group that has the same hiking interests that I do, and to explore some new ground as well.

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......

www.explorepatrails.com lists all the trails in the state and also has links to some of the hiking clubs.

I would check out the local senior center for information on local clubs.

I have heard good things about this one http://www.batona.wildapricot.org/ and this one http://www.amcdv.org/ which would both be good if you are close in near Philly.
