fixing leak in pop-up camper

My buddy has a pop-up camper with a small leak we are having a hard time tracking down. We calked all the seams with a silicone calk 2 yrs ago, it may need to be done again. We are thinking about covering the whole roof with some kind of waterproofing that we can paint on. Has anyone done this or have any ideas?

Re: fixing leak in pop-up camper

I'm haveing the same issue with my pop up.
I think the leak is coming from the roof vent.
I have also considered using the spray paint waterproofer stuff.

Re: fixing leak in pop-up camper

Depends on what it is made of. Maybe camp dry can be used. My father in law had one and they told him the only thing he should ever put on it was mild detergent to clean it so I would say it depends on how old it is and what material it is made of. I really don't know much about it just saying.

You canít get them if you ainít in the woods!!
