Burn Band

Does anyone know if there is a burn band in effect for Poe Valley? Or where i can find out if there is one? THANKS!!!!!!

Might be a burn ban, call state parks and ask. With all the fires poping up accross the state because of dry conditions, I wouldn't start a campfire in the woods.




When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

I just passed on the way home where they have the helicopter for the DCNR and the big sign out front listed HIGH for fire condition.
I know the woods are very dry and we have been unable to have open burns for the past couple weeks.

My ability to remember lyrics from songs of the 60's far exceed my ability to remember why I walked into the kitchen

there is a burn ban in effect in Cookie Twp in cumberland Co.
