looking for someplace nice

looking for some place nice and close to go camping in sept i live in cambria county would like to say somewhere with in 2 hrs dont wanna go to glendale the lake will be down and cant take boat. any ideas

Trough Creek State Park is nice and Raystown next door. We enjoy Friendship Village in Bedford too.

you might try canoe creek state park. not sure about the water level at that time of the year. electric motors only, though. not a huge lake. nice cabins to stay in. modern cabins and reasonible priced.
