Good quality folding shovel

Looking for a good quality folding shovel. Most I have experience with were from the army surplus and didn't seem to hold up very well. Any recommendations?

Honestly, I went to Lowes and got one of those mini shovels. You can actually dig with it and they are lighter. A little harder to pack, but worth it if you have shared gear or are in a canoe.

Every day you see it on the news. Another felons life needlessly spared by inaccurate fire.

Walmart sells them. They are good quality but on the heavy side. I actually just purchased packable shovels and hatchets for my groomsman in my wedding. I was a bit nervous if they would like the idea or not but they all seemed to love it.

Why was this post never moved to the "field gear" forum, where it belonged?

Not sure what your looking for exactly, but there is some nice small shovels made as metal detecting gear. Lesche makes one they call a Sampson maybe worth looking at.
